ZAP stands for zero air pollution. The company has been leading the industry to create cleaner transportation technologies since 1994 by delivering more than 85,000 vehicles to customers in more than 60 countries. Vehicles include cars, bicycles, scooters, motorbikes, and underwater scooters.

ZAP is beginning to introduce the U.S. market to its SMART car by establishing an automotive distribution network. The company recently signed a $10 million dollar exclusive distribution contract with SMART-Automobile LLC. The SMART car’s gas mileage is 60 miles per gallon and is currently being converted to U.S. safety standards and regulations.

This company reminds us a lot of WHIS, which we released twice in the past as a stock pick. They both have extraordinary potential to find their own niche in the booming electric car market.

There are only 17 million shares outstanding and with a market cap of only $37 million, ZAPZ shares deserve to rise much higher.
