Stock Price: $11.52 (short-term strong buy)

Jewett-Cameron Trading Company is a holding company of companies engaged in the wholesale sale of lumber and building materials, the sale of industrial tools and the sale of processed agricultural seeds and grain.

Much of the Gulf Coast will need to be rebuilt or repaired in some sort over the next few months. Hurricane Rita is battering the coast right now and by now we have all seen the destruction of Hurricane Katrina.

Demand for lumber will increase and so will the price, driving up revenue for Jewett-Cameron. JCTCF will move quickly with only 560,000 shares in the float.

Plywood and other building materials have risen substantially over the last few weeks. JCTCF is a short term as well as a long term strong buy.
