Digital Angel Corporation develops and deploys sensor and communications technologies that enable accurate identification, location tracking, and condition monitoring of assets. Assets able to be tracked include pets, fish and livestock as well as vehicles and aircraft.

The company developed and manufacturers a device known as the VeriChip. The VeriChip is a radio frequency microchip that contains a unique verification number which once scanned releases important information. It is implanted under the skin and is about the size of a grain of rice.

The VeriChip is currently licensed to VeriChip Corp., a unit of Applied Digital (ADSX) for human applications. It is currently being implanted in Mexican government officials, and is awaiting approval by the FDA for rollout in the U.S.

If there is another Mad Cow Disease scare, expect DOC shares to get a jump. They have a portfolio of RFID tags and chips, scanners, and state-of-the-art herd management software.

SpeculatingStocks.com Target Price: DOC shares could easily jump to over $5.00 in the 6-12 months.
