Bally Total Fitness is the largest and only nationwide, commercial operator of fitness centers, with approximately four million members and 440 facilities. With an estimated 150 million annual visits to its clubs, Bally offers a unique platform for distribution of a wide range of products and services targeted to active, fitness-conscious adult consumers.

Fitness stocks like BFT have been surging as of late as people begin to move away from their diets and focus more on exercise. Bally recently signed a major agreement with Hilton Hotels for its guests to have access to more than 5,000 certified personal trainers at Hilton or Bally locations.

Over 15% of the 32.40 million share BFT float is being shorted. More major news could cause a short squeeze and send BFT up much higher.
