Advanced Photonix, Inc. is a supplier of optoelectronic solutions and terahertz instrumentation to a global OEM customer base. Products include the patented high speed optical receivers in APD and PIN configurations, silicon large area avalanche photodiodes (LAAPD), PIN photodiodes and FILTRODE® detectors.

API has been climbing steadily since hitting a low of $1.36 on July 17th defying the market over the past two weeks. Over this period, volume has been increasing just as steadily. Its looking like Wall Street may make API the next huge mover.

This company has a product known as Large Area Avalanche Photo Diode cooled detectors. This product is beginning to win major business in the medical market. It incorporates proprietary and patented technologies from Advanced Photonix.

API has been under new management since June 6th and looks ready for a new period of growth. We expect institutions to invest in API once they see the potential. It wouldn't surprise us to see API pursue a NASDAQ listing once above $5.00. API looks just as attractive in the short-term as the long-term.
