Financial World from Today - EU, Greece, Northrop, US Markets, DOW 10,500!
Well it’s no surprise that the smart money is taking some profits in this market. Any level such as DOW 10,500 is going to have enough program trading in the derivatives market and the underlying stocks that selling is almost a given. It’s good to see the DOW fighting off a late surge of bear aggression and holding above DOW 10,500.
Of course, as I predicted in regards to the EU situation, Greek Prime Minister George Papandreo went to Obama today and requested assistance in the current crisis. This sent the EURO and Pound Sterling into a steep decline. Fitch came out now concerned with debt concerns over Spain and Portugal (again as we predicted) but said Greece was concerned, a low level concern for default? I mean who is he kidding? Again that’s the great thing about the market. Odd news coming out of China and negative news coming out of the EU will have an interesting affect on the markets today. So it’s contrarian and right leaning news prevailing on the wires. It’s a spooky day I must say with Hungry and Austria selling bonds. Biden decided today was a good day to pledge the US unvarnished commitment to Israel. What does that even stand for? Who writes these marketing slogans for the government? NOC is out on the wires. I say buy NOC as the need for high-tech weapons is rapidly increasing and Northrop has positioned itself as the leader in its sector.
Okay, the theme for today is xenophobia and nationalism. Some U.S. special interest group is actually have a press conference launching about the “social costs” of pornography. Online pornography alone is a $3 billion or more annual sector. No matter the general moral opinion held by US citizens, this is running square into first amendment rights.
Futures are down in the US weighed by concerns about Asia and the EU debacle. These Credit Default Swaps basically guaranteeing coverage of investment losses hedging offshore entities investments in underlying debt of EU governments and corporations are partly to blame for pressure on the weaker EU economies. This is another round of exotic derivative garbage that will later be considered the impetus for some investment bubble creating the necessity for governments to bail out lemming banks that are consistently late to the party.
So hold on for an interesting ride today as futures are pointing to the US markets opening down. There is pressure on Oil and Gold today as the Dollar rallied against the Euro and Pound Sterling. Clearly this is one of the few times the dollar actually has nowhere else to go but up. Well I still say that there are really not too many other places to put your money other than the US stock market. I guess I might venture that South American Index funds may hold steady today. I don’t buy China’s hint that it might unpeg the Yuan from the Dollar. The bears are going to try to pound the open as it will be a fight to hold DOW 10,500 today.

China is the major investor of over 10 billion into Angola.
China is the major investor of over 10 billion into Angola. They are building skyscrapers, highways, a railway system across Africa and a few hospital/schools…etc. China recently invested in several western African countries, Somalia, Sudan, Nigeria just to name a few the UN has on its list for violations of human rights by the aforementioned governments. Africa clearly has a HUGE amount of non-durable supplies and natural resources. Typically, Western investments (government not dual tax treaty “invisible private equity tax haven investments”) come with human rights conditions and anti corruption financial oversight policies. China has what is called Sovereign Political respect or something like that. In summary it means China will not interfere or question the human rights policies, such as the documented ethnic cleansing in Somalia and Sudan as it expects those nations to return the favor. It would be humorous if there were not atrocities and crimes against humans being currently being carried out presumably by the leaders of these nations. What makes it even more absurd is that China is brining over its own laborers to build the skyscrapers, build the highways and expand the railroads. There are an estimated 100,000 Chinese (the vast majority temporary laborers) currently in Angola alone. Can anyone say MASSIVE financial corruption? In Rwanda, 500,000 people were executed in 30 days, mostly by machete creating a new precedence for the number killed in a genocide in relation to the days the atrocities were carried out. The country has barely begun to recover only to be targeted by the new imperial invasion. What’s even more frightening is this same government owns the majority of the debt issued by our always humorous government. With China warning of regional bank risk could we see bank failure there and could this spurn a run on the banks? Now this would be fascinating with the Yuan pegged to the dollar. Definitely not what we expect or would like to see, but the idea has to be mulled over. China just stated it has instructed local governments not to support the bailout of investment arms. It’s uncertain if this will cause bank failures and if so how China will react. I guess you can’t run on a bank with tanks in front of it?
Now there is still a considerable amount of cash on the sidelines. Of course, the smart money “informed money” sold out of real estate and stocks at their highs. Now it sits awaiting the latest round of bubble silliness to drive up only to have the lemming bankers buy out the positions and left holding the bag. Of course the bankers spread this lovely debacle on to their retail clients like a disease through the analyst’s recommendations. A vicious cycle we would like you to get ahead of thus our recommendation to buy non-durable goods exporting nations index funds and the US stock market in “recession and inflation” resistant sectors. The war machine will continue for a while as the last great US manufacturing sector where we have an edge on the World. I’m guessing Taiwan will be buying some more jets and missiles as a statement was issued that China now has air superiority. Boeing will trade up most likely on sale of 20 737’s to Turkish airlines. Short Precision Biosciences as US Patent offices issued a second actions rejection of a previously granted claim to Cellectis’ Core technology. So long Cellectis if it’s publicly traded or buy on dips if the open is coming in too high. Ticker is ALCLS on the CAC “or Paris” but can be purchased though Euronext DJ. Trading now up…

Stock Picks and Penny Stock Picks of Chinese Companies
Most of Asia closed up with the exception of China. The Yuan test continues as China is actually being proactive and testing what its merchants can sustain in order to gauge the approach the Chinese central bank will implement to fight inflation. China continues to be the largest owner of US debt. Many penny stocks are coming out of China. There are many reasons to follow China with the aforementioned ranking close to the most important. We have released several stock picks of Chinese companies in the past. Europe is trading up today with the exception of Switzerland. The world markets seem to be skipping along with the nice move in the US markets. So it’s easy at this point to look at the current issues the US financial markets face and take a very bearish attitude and call for huge market correction because of a huge over valuation in stocks. There are always a litany of justifications and fundamental or technical arguments these economists will come up with. Other than 15 plus years experience in almost every capacity in the securities business, I base my current premise on the prevailing direction the DOW will trend on one thing that I’ve noticed recently, HOPE.
Yes, HOPE is the prevailing indicator that leads me to look at long term option positions on DOW futures contracts 1-3 years out from 12,000-15,000 respectively from 2011-2013. The fact that there is actually hope in the third world to increase the living standard of those that have the least is starting to bridge the income disparity gap. Central America, South America, Africa, Malaysia, and Indonesia among other countries are all in various stages of expansion based on the exportation of non-durable goods. These staples of life increase the employment of those that are willing to work for the lowest wages but have skill sets to fit the work. As the business grows and tasks become more complicated, a supply to demand variable in available skilled laborers increases the wages that are earned by the working class. As in the textile boom in the United States where we replaced the UK and Europe as the nexus for skilled production, there is a similar revolution occurring in these locations, but it is based upon non-durable goods exportation. Some of the next hot stocks in the stock market are coming out of Latin America and Asia.
