Pittsburgh, PA (SpeculatingStocks) -We have found three wireless communication stocks that might be trending upward:
UTStarcom Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ:UTSI), a mid-cap stock with a market capitalization of around $220 million, the stock is trading at $1.41 per share (4:00 PM EDT, November 3rd, 2011). UTSI has a 52-week high of $2.92 per share, and its simple-moving average (SMA) has begun an upward climb—recovering from a recent downturn in early September and lasted until mid- to late-October. UTStarcom has a current ratio of 1.75 and enough cash on hand to fill $2.03 per share! UTStarcom operates out of the Asian markets, and so it’s a useful company for long-term growth as well.
Telular Corporation (NASDAQ:WRLS), is an American based firm, whose market capitalization of only around $89 million makes it one of the smallest wireless communication companies in the US. WRLS is currently trading at $5.94 per share (10:00 PM EST, November 3rd, 2011), holds an EPS of $2.44 per share making its P/E only 2.43 which is rather low for a nano-cap stock. The company has a current ratio of 3.00 and a very nice return on equity of over 78%. The firm holds $10 million in cash reserves, forcing its Enterprise value down to less than market-cap so any investor would actually come into money when purchasing the firm as they would not have to pay off any major outstanding debt.
China GrenTech Corporation Ltd. (NASDAQ:GRRF), is currently trading at $2.43 per share (4:00 PM EDT, November 3rd, 2011) GrenTech provides wireless communication as well as radio frequency technology, and so has a firm hold on the radio frequency sector. The company has an enterprise value of just under $55 million, making it a nano-cap corporation, however, it keeps itself fairly well leveraged with a current ratio of 1.24. It has a P/E around 3.46 and earnings of $0.70 per share.
