Well if you are looking for that stock to last you over the winter, then you might just want to.
Akorn, Inc. (NASDAQGS:AKRX) is a pharmaceuticals company which has tightly selected their market to generic anti-infection, antidotes, anesthesia, pain-relief, and ophthalmology. AKRX is trading at just $7.86 a share (4:00 PM EDT, October 10th, 2011), placing it at the lower end of its 52-week range, held between $4.16 per share and $9.50 per share. The company also registers over $7 million in free-cash-flows. The management seems to know what it’s doing with a return on equity over 53% and a profit margin over 49%.
Technicals are rebounding from a recent, and seemingly short-lived, drop off in the stock price, so the stock is most likely oversold at the moment, placing it at a bargain. The MACD band is rounding out its trough and might begin to rebound back over the EMA reflecting a bullish momentum in the stock’s price ;however, RSI and Stochastic show that the stock is selling at lows compared to recent historical data, with little other indication as to where the price might move in the future. Price indicators show potential bullish trends over 45 and 100 day periods.
So if you—like those furry little critters—want store up some supplies for the winter, Akorn has a lot to feed on.
