Sigma Designs, Inc. specializes in silicon-based digital media processing solutions for consumer products. The Company has developed system solutions for convergence products, including DVD playback, digital television (DTV) reception, video over Internet protocol (IP), personal video recording (PVR) and video-on-demand (VOD).

SIGM has doubled its share value in the past six months. Over the past two days, volume has increased significantly. Something big is brewing and if this breaks above $13.00 it could be off to the races.

There are only 20 million shares in the float and 12.5% are being shorted. Major news could cause the shorts to cover and propel SIGM much higher.

Major growth segments for Sigma Designs will be HDTV and portable media devices.
