Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company, focuses on novel therapeutics for the treatment of diseases and disorders of the central nervous system. It owns and markets two products, including H.P. Acthar Gel and Doral in the United States.

QSC had cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments of around $20.0 million as of November 30, 2007 with accounts receivable of around $24 million. For the most recent quarter, revenue came in at $14.80 million with net income of $8.625 million.

QSC implemented a new strategy for their Acthar Gel and announced earlier this month that they have shipped 1,060 vials of Acthar in October and November.

We believe QSC has signficant internal strength and momentum and has reached a new level in the pharmaceutical industry. QSC could become an even bigger play than it already has. We first discovered QSC on June 5th of last year at $1.88.
