Idearc, Inc., through its subsidiaries, provides yellow and white page directories and related advertising products in the United States and the District of Columbia. The company's products primarily include print yellow and white pages directories; Superpages.com, Switchboard.com, and LocalSearch.com online local search products; and Superpages Mobile, an information directory for wireless subscribers.

IAR recently named a new CEO, replacing the interim CEO. The new CEO was formerly an operating partner of private-equity firm Symphony Technology Group.

IAR has strong revenue and net income numbers with revenue last year of $3.18 billion and net income of $429 million. The company has strong cash flow. We like IAR for the short-term rather than long-term due to the heavy debt on their balance sheet.

IAR is at a bottom right now and could see a move higher in the near term. IAR climbed from under $3.50 to $6.00 recently. IAR is right at its 50-day moving average at $4.00 and a breakout could be imminent.
